We are creating a team of Community Catalysts who represent different parts of the community in the Borough of Camden and across London, to help us spread the word about Men & Girls Dance throughout March and April 2017.
Men & Girls Dance is a dance piece by Fevered Sleep, celebrating the rights of adults and children to be together, to play together and to dance together. You can find out more at menandgirlsdance.com
We want to make sure people from all walks of life and backgrounds feel welcome to take part in the project, which is why we are recruiting Community Catalysts.
As a Community Catalyst, you will take part in an induction training session, receive a toolkit, £100 to cover expenses, a free ticket to the show, and an invitation to watch a rehearsal and meet the Artistic Directors. In return, we will ask the Catalysts to go out and talk to their networks, give out our newspaper and flyers, invite people to the Men & Girls Dance performances, and collect feedback, with plenty of support from the team at Fevered Sleep and The Place. Our ideal Community Catalysts will have good communication skills, a strong sense of motivation, and plenty of enthusiasm.
Fevered Sleep is committed to promoting equality and diversity among our staff. We welcome and encourage applications from all sections of the community, in particular applicants who are under-represented in the arts due to their socio-economic status, their ethnic background, and disabled people.
