You get all sorts round for Christmas.
Guests you welcome with open arms, guests who seem to stay forever and guests dressed in red who arrive bearing gifts. But this Christmas, Fevered Sleep and National Theatre Wales have invited a very unusual guest to a house in Pen-y-groes.
Step through the front door to join us for a midwinter gathering, and discover what might happen if the weather came to visit.
Created entirely on location in a house in Pen-y-groes, The Weather Factory packs a year’s worth of weather into one ordinary yet magical place, celebrating the natural geography that makes Snowdonia the engine room of the Welsh climate.
This is the ninth show in the launch year for National Theatre Wales – one a month every month – the new English language company making world class work in diverse places and unique spaces across Wales.

The location for The Weather Factory is a three-storey domestic house. For people who use wheelchairs and are unable to access the basement and upstairs rooms, we will provide a video of the events in those rooms. The experience is chiefly visual and will be accessible for people with hearing difficulties. For people with sight difficulties we will be scheduling a guided touch tour performance during the run.
