An Infinite Line : Brighton

Brighton: bright town. City of brightness. City of light. Sea dazzle. Grey mist. White houses. West wind.
Fevered Sleep, presents the world premiere of An Infinite Line, a meditation on, evocation of and response to the particular quality of light in Brighton. But how do you approach something as mutable and mercurial as light?
An Infinite Line offers two unique experiences: By day it takes the form of installation. Multiple cine projectors reveal a landscape in constant flux, played out in moving postcards of sea, sky and architectural form against a sculptural backdrop of stark white chalk. By night this ever-changing environment is the setting for a performance based visual poem. Music, movement, light, film, wind, sound, mirrors, words and water become the materials for a strange and transformative sensory encounter.
As perspectives shift and the world is made anew, An Infinite Line redraws the horizon of our ways of seeing.
