Fevered Sleep was formed in 1996 by David Harradine and Samantha Butler.
We make new work in all sorts of different forms. Most of our work is in performance, installation and publication. We create work for children and for adults.
Everything we make is design-focused and devised collaboratively. Projects are always led by ideas and research, so each new thing might be radically different from what has gone before it. We create environments and encounters that encourage audiences to see the world in new and unexpected ways. As well as making work for arts contexts such as theatres and galleries, we’re exploring digital formats, and creating work that appears as part of the fabric of people’s daily life.
We show our work across the UK and internationally, through touring, and through partnerships with a wide range of organisations. We are based at the Young Vic in London, where we are an associate company. Our work is produced in association with Fuel.
Fevered Sleep’s Artistic Director, David Harradine, is currently Artist in Residence in the school of Arts and Media at the University of Brighton, where he is collaborating on a project about climate change. You can follow the project HERE. You can also find out more about David’s work via his website, Written with Light.
If we’re recruiting for staff, artists or performers, you’ll find more information on our Jobs page.
