Fevered Sleep

Research is at the heart of all our work, and we often wonder why things in the arts are the way they are, and how we might imagine them differently.

We share our learning by organising events, gatherings, and conversations; publishing books and pamphlets; and sharing thoughts and new ideas here on our website.

We make all our projects through open-ended creative research processes that involve all sorts of people. Sometimes we collaborate with other people and organisations who work in the arts. Often we develop our projects by collaborating with people outside the arts, including academics, engineers, doctors, scientists, children and young people.

All the art we make is a way of investigating or reimagining the wildly complex times in which we live.

We’re always looking for new ways to do things, inquisitive about what a 21st century independent arts organisation might look like. We’re particularly interested in new ways of touring, new partnership models, and new approaches to co-creation.

We’re Associate Artist at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London.
