Created for the Undercroft at the Roundhouse in London, the mad maze of abandoned tunnels and secret chambers underneath The Roundhouse, Written with Light was an exploration of photography, memory and loss.

A project in two parts, the audience first walked through a series of installations before arriving in the Undercroft’s central chamber where a visual theatre performance with live music, photography, movement and sound told the story of an amnesiac photographer whose images slowly reveal a terrible secret.

First performed in January 2002.
