Partnerships Producer (This Grief Thing)

I think of myself as a Creative Nomad, moving between art forms, communities and contexts with my artist, producer, facilitator, mentor and coach hats on.

I’m a London-based artist, researcher and creative producer working across socially engaged performance, film, installation, exhibitions and participatory arts projects. My practice is focused on creating empathic spaces that uncover, nurture and celebrate intimate narratives around identity, wellbeing and interconnectedness, bringing stories to life and creating space for them to be shared and remembered.

I grew up between Lagos, Nigeria and London, and spent many years living in Brooklyn, New York, where I had a fulfilling career across the arts, fashion and creative education. I’m now happily ensconced in the sunny south London village of Crystal Palace.

I was most recently Programme Director of the BA (Hons) Theatre & Social Change at Rose Bruford College, where I spent 6 years exploring how creative practice can connect people and create change. I now work freelance as a Producer, Artist, Mentor, Facilitator and Coach, and am a proud Trustee of Tangled Feet.

I’m also a radical optimist, which is less a job title and more an approach to life — I’m endlessly curious about what’s possible and love dreaming up collective futures of imagination and hope with people.

Outside of work, I’m a mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. You’ll find me in theatres, cinemas and festivals, singing in community choirs, having long, meandering conversations (preferably over food), discovering London’s hidden woodlands with my husband, or creating stories and memories with my curious teenage son.
