"Sheep Pig Goat offers the possibility of a new way of seeing as the human audience watches the animal audience and then considers what they think they see."

This week, our new project Sheep Pig Goat was featured in Lyn Gardner's theatre blog on The Guardian.

The project also featured on BBC London News, and on Screen Shot magazine.

Sheep Pig Goat explores inter-species empathy and communication and was commissioned as part of the Making Nature exhibition at Wellcome Collection.

We are delighted that so many different people have shared their thoughts and ideas with us, in the same open spirit with which we have approached this project.

Rather than a finished product, we have thrown open the doors of our creative research studio and asked the public to be part of our exploration. Throughout the week, this has raised fascinating questions and new perspectives on the ways in which we perceive and interact with animals.

It's a complicated subject, and to help us think about it we have enlisted the assistance of animal behaviour experts, biologists, animal wranglers, anthropologists, academics, writers, and of course, artists. The care and well-being of the animals has been foremost in our thoughts at every stage of the process, and we have learned so much from them.
