My pronouns are she/her.

I’m passionate about the role of the arts in bringing people together, and have always been drawn to work that harnesses culture as a force for positive social change.

I’m a senior cultural leader with 20 years’ experience shaping and delivering multidisciplinary programmes and festivals for organisations in the UK and Australia, including the British Film Institute, Sydney Festival, Sydney Opera House, Southbank Centre and WOW - Women of the World. With a background in producing and programming, I’ve since moved into roles focused increasingly on business development and strategy, with my work spanning audiences, partnerships, fundraising and development.

I’ve recently been appointed Partnerships & Development Director at Hay Festival – a dream job as a bibliophile, and a lovely full-circle moment, as it’s one of the first festivals I attended when I was about 10 years old. Since becoming a mum to two children, I’ve also become increasingly interested in work for and by young people. I’m very excited to be combining many of these interests as part of the Board of the wonderful Fevered Sleep.
